About Victor Grămadă

I have personally navigated this journey and understand both sides of it. As a next-generation member of a family business, I know the expectations, pressure, responsibility toward the family, and questions that arise when deciding what role you want to play in the business and in your own life.

At the same time, after seven years on the executive board of my family’s business, I have been directly involved in the decisions, trade-offs, and responsibilities that shape both the company and the family. I know how complex these situations can become because I have lived them.

I am a Certified Family Business Advisor (CFBA) accredited by the Family Firm Institute, and I have completed the Leading Your Family Business program at IMD in Switzerland. My work in family business consulting combines first-hand experience, specialist research, and proven frameworks developed through work with entrepreneurial families around the world.

When considering a challenge, I draw on my own experience, the experience of the clients I have supported, and research into the decisions made by other business families, the outcomes they achieved, and the practices that have proved effective. The purpose is not to apply a standard formula, but to determine what works for the individual, the family, and the business involved.

In my work with next-generation family members, I help them:

• understand what they genuinely want;
• clarify their personal and professional direction;
• navigate expectations within the family;
• step into leadership roles;
• launch new businesses or entrepreneurial ventures;
• make decisions they can stand behind with confidence.

Every situation is different. Some want to lead the family business and prepare for a future leadership transition, others are looking for a different role within it, and some want to build a path outside the company. Others are still trying to understand which direction is right for them.

My role is not to push anyone toward a predetermined outcome. It is to create clarity and alignment so that each person can move forward in a way that works for them and their family.

At the same time, I work with entrepreneurial families dealing with difficult conversations, differing expectations across generations, and family business succession. I help them prepare the next chapter of the business without losing sight of the relationships that keep the family united.

I do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Every family, every business, and every individual has their own goals, aspirations, and challenges. My role is to help people find solutions that fit their circumstances and take concrete steps in the direction they choose.

My goal is simple: a life that feels right for the individual, a family that remains united and can be proud of the path chosen, and a business that continues to thrive.

Depending on the situation, I work independently or with small, carefully coordinated teams of advisors. I created Family Business Advisors to bring together empathetic people who are also experts in their respective fields and can respond collectively to the needs of entrepreneurial families.

When required, we involve specialists in critical areas such as law, finance, healthcare, management, and organisational development, ensuring that each family receives the right support at the right time.
